Like so many people, I spent much of my life working a job that was enough to get by, but not enough to really live. My needs were met. My heart was yearning for more.

After an injury that would effectively remove me from my career, I re-discovered my passion for creativity. Over a few months time, I learned how to sew, revisited my love for making jewelry, and even started learning how to draw.

There's something captivating about the power of nostalgia. I found myself creating things that I would have loved as a child of the 90s. Before too long, I was surrounded by all things bright, happy, and PINK!

daylily nightshade is a way to share my personal desire for whimsy and joy in my everyday life. A way to remind us all of a time when our biggest worries were if we would run out of bubbles to blow while playing in the park or if our electronic pet needed another snack.
